YEAR 5/6 VISIT TO MAGNA

This week Year 5 and 6 visited Magna, which is an amazing science adventure centre inside an enormous old steelworks. They visited themed sections which looked at Fire, Air and Water, including the awesome fire tornado. There was also a fun outdoor play area. Everyone had a brilliant time!

DERBY LIONS CLUB

CHRISTMAS APPEAL 2017

This year, we will once more be supporting the Derby Lions Club Annual Christmas Appeal for those in Need.

Please can you send in a tin or packet of non-perishable food next week, by Friday 1st December. Donations can be placed in the box near the office. These will then be collected by Derby Lions Club, and distributed to people in need in Derby.

Thank you for your support.

Class 17 Blog

Class 17 have decided that they would like to write a weekly blog to encourage children to read more. They hope that lots of people will read it!

OFSTED

As you know, we had our Ofsted inspection on Tuesday. We will have to wait a couple of weeks for our official report, but the inspectors were very complimentary about our school and our children. A huge "thank you" to all the staff for the hard work they put in, and to the children for being amazing. Thank you also to all our parents for their support.

Ofsted have an online survey called "Parent View" where you can give your views about the school. This can be completed at any time - go to:
