BOOK WEEKS 2018
We will be holding our book weeks during the first 2 weeks in October. As part of this, we will be taking the children to Waterstones so they can choose a book to keep. You should have received a letter to tell you when your child’s class will be going.
COATS
Now that the weather is starting to get colder, please make sure that your child brings a warm, waterproof coat to school everyday.
PE KIT
Please ensure that your child has their PE kit in school every day, and that it is all named.
They need:
White T-shirt
Black shorts / Jogging bottoms
Trainers for outside
Black pumps for indoors
Jacket or sweatshirt for winter
Named bag to keep it in.
Threadworms
We have had some cases of threadworm in school. This is very common in primary school children, and is very easy to treat. See your pharmacist for advice, or go to:
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/Threadworms/
To prevent infection, make sure your children wash their hands well before eating and after using the loo.
