TRIP TO ALTER ROCK

Year 3 and 4 have been to Alter Rock to experience rock climbing, abseiling, and high ropes as part of our topic on mountains. It was a really fantastic trip, and although the high ropes were extremely scary, we supported one another and helped each other overcome our fears. We thought it was the best trip we had ever been on!

HOLIDAY CLUBS

Don’t get bored during the half term holiday - come along to our fun holiday club on Monday 19th, Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st February. They will include a variety of sports, including cricket, football, tennis and more with specialised coaches, as well as active literacy and active numeracy. Above all, lots of FUN and the chance to win PRIZES!

Sessions are from 10:00am to 3:00pm everyday; bring a packed lunch and a water bottle.

Best of all, thanks to support from the National Lottery, all sessions are FREE!

HAPPY HOLIDAY!

We wish everyone a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, and look forward to seeing all the children back in school on

LEARNING ABOUT OTHERS

Last Friday, Classes 5, 7 and 8 visited the Hindu temple, to learn more about Hinduism and to celebrate a different religion. We were very proud of how respectfully they behaved during the visit. They were then visited by their new friends from Hasland Infant School; they had great fun working together on team challenges and built some super towers! They are now looking forward to seeing their friends again and visiting their church when they go to Hasland School in March.
