DERBY ARTS FESTIVAL

The year 5's had a very successful outing to the Derby Arts festival this afternoon! Classes 14, 15 and 18 took part in a choral speaking category where they had to select their own poem to perform. All three classes worked tremendously hard and gave outstanding performances. I am delighted to announce that Class 18 and 14 came joint 3rd place and class 15 achieved 2nd place!

Congratulations and thank you to all that helped to make this such a 'roaring' success!!

TEA & TOAST

Please join us in Hall 1 for Tea & Toast on Wednesday 2nd May from 8.45 - 8.55am.

Everyone welcome!

RECEPTION READING

Our children love to have stories read to them by different people. The Reception teachers would like to invite any of the Reception parents to come in and read a story to the children. If you are interested, then please speak to the class teacher.

Attendance

Good attendance is vital for children to do their best at school. Well done to Class 1 who achieved 100% attend-ance last week, Classes 4 and 8 who achieved 99% and Classes 2, 3 and 18 who had high attendance, and no children late for school all week.
