Reception Visit to Chatsworth Farm

Last week the reception children had an amazing trip to Chatsworth Farm. They saw lots of different farm animals, and learned about how they are looked after. Despite the bad weather they really enjoyed themselves, and their teachers were proud of their behaviour.

DRAWING COMPETITION

Last week, the School Council judged our annual drawing competition. There were lots of excellent entries, and they had a difficult job in choosing the top three from each phase. Well done to all the winners below, who received prizes of art equipment. This year we also invited members of staff to enter too - congratulations to Miss Allen who won, and Miss Sandra who was runner-up.

Time for Porridge!

This week in Nursery the children made porridge and sold it to members of staff. The staff were really supportive of the children’s shop enabling them to make over £5, which will be spent on special snacks for nursery.

100% Attendance

Attending school every day is very important for children to achieve their best. This week we celebrated all the children who had achieved 100% attendance during the spring term. They each chose a new book as their special prize. Well done to all the children for their excellent attendance.
