A DINOSAUR COMES TO SCHOOL!

As part of our dinosaur project this term, on Friday 4th May, key stage 1 had a very unusual surprise – a T-Rex called Rex came to our school for a visit! There was nothing to be frightened of though as he was really friendly. Some of the children were really brave and even stroked him. We’re going to write recounts of his visit, called ‘The day a T-Rex came to school’.

Recycled Instruments

This term, Year 3 and 4 are thinking about being kind to the environment and had great fun practising recycling by making musical instruments out of rubbish.

Year 6 SATS

Our Year 6 children will be sitting their SATS tests next week, and we wish them every success.

Please make sure that your child is able to do their best with the correct preparation. They should get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast. They can come into school for a free breakfast at 8:00am and join breakfast club, or come in to school as normal at 8:45am.

Please DO NOT ARRIVE LATE!

Bicycles in School

We encourage children to cycle to school, as it is good for their fitness. This week we have had a problem with a child taking somebody else’s bike home. To prevent this, we will keep a record of the children who cycle to school, with a photograph of their bike. Please let the class teacher know if your child cycles to school.

Royal Wedding Street Party

To celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, we will be holding a street party on
