NURSERY TRIP TO THE PARK

The Nursery children had a wonderful time in the sunshine at Markeaton Park on Wednesday. They especially enjoyed looking for the Gruffalo in the forest! We were so proud of how sensible the children were - we even had comments from members of the public who were impressed with their behaviour!

BRASS PERFORMANCE

Our Year 5 and 6 children have been learning to play brass instruments, including trumpets, trombones and euphoniums. Last week they put on a wonderful performance, with the help of Mrs Wilde and Miss Lobley.

PE BAGS

We have had some parents asking about PE bags, so we have ordered some Arboretum bags as a trial. They are available from the office at £3.50 each. We currently have a limited supply, but we will order more if they are popular.

SEALIFE CENTRE

As part of their project this term "Under the Sea", Year 5 and 6 have recently visited The Sealife Centre in Birmingham. They learned about different sea creatures, and had great fun.
