ARBO’S GOT TALENT!

Last Friday we held our annual “Arbo’s Got Talent” competition, and as usual we were treated to some amazing entertainment, including singing, dancing and martial arts.

The judging panel, made up of staff and pupils, had a very difficult job. A big congratulations to our winners - Abdullah, Ailands and Maksims!

OCEANS OF THE WORLD

This term class 15 have been studying the Oceans of the World and on Tuesday afternoon Parents were taken on a journey to the deepest darkest depths of the Ocean!

Class 15 taught parents about an array of vast and intriguing facts all about the Ocean.

Miss Thornton would like to thank the parents that attended and take this opportunity to say how proud she is of each and every member of class 15 for the hard work they put into their presentations!

 

NURSERY GRADUATIONS

Thank you to all the parents who came to the Nursery Graduations on Wednesday. Miss Chambers and the nursery staff were overwhelmed by the numbers of parents and carers who turned up and would like to say a huge thank you for your support over the year with your childrens’ education.

All the local schools are getting together to organise an exciting Summer Fair, with food, games, stalls, rides, entertainment, face painting and lots more. Please come along and join us for a fun time!

 

Holiday Activities

Mr Malooq and Mr Pemberton will be running an exciting summer programme, including activities onsite and offsite. For any activities held off site, children will need to be picked up and dropped off from the venues themselves.

For each full day of activities booked, your child will need to bring a packed lunch, plenty of fluids and appropriate sports clothing / footwear. Do not forget to apply suncream on days when it is sunny!!

Activities on all days will run from 10am – 3pm. Please ensure you are prompt when picking up / dropping off your child. The cost for the activities is FREE TO ALL CHILDREN. If you are interested, please pick up a letter from outside the Office and return the completed slip to Mr Malooq by Tuesday 24th July.

Week 1 - 30th July to 3rd August - Tournaments and “Wet & Wild” - Arboretum Primary School

Week 2 - 6th/7th and 9th/10th August - Rock Climbing, abseiling, high ropes & caving 10-12pm - Alter Rock

Multi sports 1-3pm at Arboretum Park

Wednesday 8th August - Family trip to Blackpool - please book separately with Mr Malooq

Week 3 - 13th to 17th August - Indoor and outdoor sports - Arboretum Primary School

Week 4 - 20th and 21st August - Team building games - Arboretum Primary School
