GOLDEN TABLE

Last Friday, Mr Scott held his first Golden Table at Arboretum.

Golden Table is held every Friday lunch time to celebrate children who have done well during lunch times all week, demonstrating that they are Arboretum STARS.

Year 3/4 Literacy Drop-in

Year 3/4 will be holding a literacy drop-in on Tuesday 11th October from 9.00 - 9.20am

Please come along to find out about what your child will be learning, and how you can support them.

 

Attend and Achieve

Attend and achieve is a reward given to classes for their attendance.

Any class that achieves 97% or more will receive points that are totalled together and can then be exchanged for a prize. These range from a new class novel to a trip to a restaurant.

The classes that achieved above 97% this week are:

Class 1,2,4,5,6,10,11,15.

Well done to all these classes!

 

Non Uniform Day

On Friday 7th October we will be having a Non Uniform day to raise money to buy fun things for the children.

“Wear your favourite colour”

50p donation

Please note, Classes 9 & 12 will be going on a visit to Derby Museum on that day, so MUST wear their uniform.

 

School Lunch - “Better than MacDonalds!”

 

We will be having a special themed lunch on:

Lamb Burger or Vegetable Nuggets

Chips

Ice Cream

All in a takeaway bag.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK ORDERS

Please return all book orders to school by

Friday 7th October

Make sure they are in an envelope with your child’s name, class and “Book Order” written on it.

Every order that you place will earn points that we can spend on books for the school.

 

COATS

Now that the weather is getting colder, please make sure that your child brings a suitable coat to school every day (NOT a “hoody”).  Remember to put their name inside it.
