Year 6 Residential Visit to Condover Hall

Last week Miss Allen and Mr Daintith took 16 Year 6 children on a 3 day residential visit to Condover Hall near Shrewsbury.  They had an amazing time….

Book Week - Waterstones Visits

We want to encourage all our children to love books and reading.

The following classes will be going to Waterstones to buy a book this week:

Monday        Class 10 & 11

Tuesday        Class 14 & 17

Wednesday  Class 6 & 8

Thursday       Class 9

The remaining classes will go next week.

Please make sure all children have a suitable coat and shoes.

Nursery and Reception children will not visit Waterstones, but will be able to choose a new book in class.

 

TEA & TOAST

SEND workshop

Mr Daintith and Miss Darby have organised a workshop on Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) on 14th October at 2.45pm.  All parents are  welcome and there will be key information shared and hand-outs from different agencies. Miss Darby and Mr Daintith will be there to answer any questions.

 

TEMPEST PHOTOGRAPHY

Tempest Photography will be taking individual photographs on

Friday 14th October - 2 year olds, Nursery, Classes 16 & 17

Friday 21st October - Classes 1 to 15

We will try to also take photographs of sibling groups, but we cannot guarantee this.

The photographers will also be available before school both days to take family photographs; come to Hall 2 from 8.00am to 8.45am if you would like a family photograph.  First come first served!

Coughs and Colds

It is getting to the time of year again when our children will be getting coughs and colds, but they should not miss out on their learning because of this.  As long as they have been given paracetamol and have a water bottle with them in school they should attend and be monitored by us in school. 

 

MacMillan Fundraising

Thank you to everyone who took part in our MacMillan fundraising activities last week.  We raised £354 for this great charity.

Congratulations to the winners of the staff Bake-off, Mrs Emerson, Miss Hardy and Miss Worrall!

 

The Parliamentary Review

Our school has had the honour of being featured in the 2015/16 Parliamentary Review.  We have a limited number of copies of the magazine available.  Please ask at the office if you would like one.
