Music FS1

In the FS1 music is integral to the daily routine, songs and rhymes are sung throughout the day. They may be used as a link to the topic, or the story of the week; rhymes are used to reinforce learning, making it fun and engaging. For example: Days of the week song; counting to 10/20; 5 Little Ducks.

Instruments are used in the classroom and during outdoor learning, children are encouraged to explore the sounds that they make and how they can be changed.
