WINTER MUSICAL
Yesterday, Key Stage 1 performed their winter musical, 'Arboretum's greatest fairy tale'. It was full of fairy tale characters like a dragon, princes, princesses and fairies making wishes come true! All the children were amazing and performed the play like true professionals without scripts! The musical had an important message that being a great friend means that no one ever needs to be lonely.
ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance at school is vital to help your child achieve to the best of their ability. It is now the time of year again when our children will be getting coughs and colds, but they should not miss out on their learning because of this.
Remember that children must be in class ready to start their learning by 8:55am. Any children who arrive after this time must go to the office so that they can be registered correctly.
Assertive Mentoring Meetings
Don’t forget Assertive Mentoring meetings on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please speak to your child’s teacher if you haven’t made an appointment yet, or you have forgotten when it is.

SANTA’S LUCKY SQUARES
To raise money to help less fortunate people within the community at Christmas, we will be running a fundraising game called “Santa’s Lucky Squares”. For 50p a go, children can chose a lucky Santa square, then one person in each class will win a prize.
Appointments at Lunchtime
We ask that wherever possible you arrange appointments outside school hours. If you need to collect your child for an appointment during lunchtime, please tell their teacher in the morning and collect them from their classroom at 12.10pm. If you try to collect them during lunchtime they may be eating lunch or may be on the playground, so you may have to wait 10 or 15 minutes for them to be collected.
