THE DAY THE CIRCUS CAME TO ARBORETUM
This week, the circus actually came to our school! We got to watch an amazing show and couldn't stop laughing at the jokes. We then tried some circus skills ourselves. We balanced peacock feathers, spun plates and hula-hooped as well as much more! We also visited a joke telling room, clown and circus designing room as well as a drama and acting room! Thank you so much to our fantastic parents for keeping it a secret! I wonder what the next surprise might be. Can you guess?
ROCK AND ROLL FRIDAY!
Next Friday, 25th January, will be Rock and Roll Friday, to celebrate the launch of our new maths resource - TTRockstars. All children and staff are invited to dress as a rockstar for the day, with bright colours and crazy hair!
PE KIT
Please ensure that your child has their PE kit in school every day, and that it is all named.
They need:
White T-shirt
Black shorts / Jogging bottoms
Trainers for outside
Black pumps for indoors
Jacket or sweatshirt for winter
Named bag to keep it in
ATTENDANCE
Well done to classes 4 and 11 who managed to achieve 99% attendance and 100% punctuality this week, even though there has been a lot of illness about. They both earned 40 points towards their attendance reward.
Please remember that just because your child has a cold, they do not need to miss out on their learning, they can still come to school. Make sure that they bring a water bottle, and warm clothes for when they go outside.
