Arbo's Recommended Reads
Children and staff at Arboretum love to read, and enjoy recommending their favourite books to others.
Class 7 have been enjoying ‘Zim Zam Zoom’, by James Carter, for National Poetry Day.
“It has lots of lovely poems and you can join in.” – Arooj.
In Class 17, we have been reading for pleasure and enjoying new stories. Lots of the boys recommend ‘Bad Dad’ by David Walliams.
“It’s really funny and has lots of twists. You won’t resist turning the pages.” – Zeeshan.
Nursery have been enjoying stories by Tom Fletcher and would like to recommend ‘There’s an Alien in your Book!’
“My favourite part when the monster comes to help the Alien fix the spaceship.” - Zayaan
Please also see our Parent Reading Guides on our school website. These contain lots of useful information on how you can support your child’s reading. Go to Parents > Children’s Study Related
