Newsletter 3 2020/2021
I hope that all our families are safe and well during this continued challenging time for us all. We are looking forward to welcoming back all our children to school on Monday 8th March. Please read the important guidance below regarding the safe protocols we all need to follow. Thank you to all the staff at school for all their hard work during the recent lockdown in ensuring all children continued with their learning either at home or in our school bubbles.
Thank you also to all the parents and carers for all your hard work at home in helping and supporting your children with their home learning. We know this has not always been easy and we appreciate all that you have done. We look forward to the time when we can welcome you back into school fully.
My very best wishes to you all.
Mr Daintith
Important guidance everyone must follow:
· The School gates will open at 8.30am for nursery children and 8.40am for all other children.
· The gates will remain open until 9.10am each morning to help with a staggered start to the day for you all.
· Please avoid any congestion and do not stop to chat or gather in groups. Remember to maintain a social distance of 2m at all times.
· We request that only one adult comes to school to drop off or pick up children to avoid too much congestion on the school site.
· Please follow the one way systems and use the appropriate gates and pathways to take the most direct route to your child’s classroom.
· All children will be back in their normal classrooms from Monday 8th March.
· Please collect your children at 3.15pm each day from their classroom
· All children will wear uniform to school unless it is a PE/Games day or they have an after school club– in which case they need to wear their PE kit to school all day .
· All children need to remember to bring coats to school and a number of layers in case they feel cold in school at any time.
Face coverings and masks.
We respectfully request that all adults wear a mask or face covering when on the school site.
Class Dojo
Thank you to all our families for signing up to Class Dojo and for using it so well to support the learning for your children at home. We will continue to use Class Dojo to communicate with you all. Teachers will respond to Class Dojo messages between 8am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. It is entirely teacher preference if they respond to messages on Class Dojo outside of these times.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding

- Adil from class 11 made a brilliant Goblin suitcase for his home learning. Great job Adil.
