ACTIVE BOUNCE
As part of Health and Fitness week, Mr Malooq arranged for 4 inflatable activities to be set up on the field, and all the classes from Reception upwards had a chance to go out and try them out. Everyone had an a brilliant time. Thank you to Mr Malooq for arranging it, and to all the staff who helped to supervise to ensure that everyone stayed safe.
BEAUMANOR HALL
As part of their science topic, Year 3/4 went to Beaumanor Hall in Leicestershire to look at mini beasts and their habitats.
NURSERY PARTY DAY
The nursery children won a special party day for earning 340 dojo points. The morning children voted for a 'Superhero Rainbow' party and the afternoon children chose a 'Fairy Football' party. They made decorations and decided which party food to buy and which games to play.

ARBO’S GOT TALENT
We held our popular “Arbo’s Got Talent” show last Friday, and had some amazing talent on display. Well done to everyone who took part. Congratulations to the Class 3 All Stars who were the winners with their super singing and dancing to “Reach for the Stars”; they had obviously practised very hard! Congratulations also to Bilal Qaisar with his magic show and Class 5 with Fantastic 5’s Dance-off, who were the runners-up. You are all Stars!
HANDWRITING COMPETITION
Mrs Wynn very kindly came into school to help judge our handwriting competition and take the winners to choose a prize book from Waterstones. Congratulations to the winners - Sameul Khan, Rijah Naeem, Aasia Naveed and Hafsah Naseer, and a big thank you to Mrs Wynn for her generosity.

SUMMER HOLIDAY CLUBS
Mr Malooq and Mr Pemberton will be running their popular holiday clubs again over the summer. They will run from 31st July - 4th August, 7 - 11th August and 14th - 16th August. Look out for a letter from Mr Malooq for more details and to book your child’s place.
FAMILY TRIPS
Mr Malooq has also organised 2 exciting family trips:
· Blackpool (seaside) - Wed 2nd Aug £10pp
· Wicksteed Park (family theme park) - Wed 9th Aug £25pp (wristband for rides included)

CLUBS
Clubs will run as normal this week. From Monday 24th to Wednesday 26th July there will be NO CLUBS except Breakfast Club.
Next term, Breakfast Club will start on Thursday 7th September. All other clubs will start week commencing 11th September. Mr Malooq will be sending out letters in September with more details.
Remember, all clubs are FREE if your child is eligible for Pupil Premium - to find out if your child qualifies, please fill in a Free School Meals application form available from the Office.
