Mr Scott’s New Job!

School photograph day is always a very busy day for everyone in school, so to help out last Friday Mr Scott joined Nora and her team to serve up our delicious school dinners.



Photo orders must be returned to school by Friday 4th November. If you send cash, remember that no change will be given.


National School Meals Week

Monday 31st October - Friday 4th November is National School Meals Week, and we will be celebrating this with special themed lunches everyday, and Nora will be running competitions for children who stay for lunch during the week:

Monday - “Under the Sea”    FS2 competition

Tuesday - “Mexican Madness”  Year 3 & 4

Wednesday - “Roast Dinner”

Thursday - “Bonfire Night” Year 1 & 2

Friday - “Best of British”  Year 5 & 6

We hope as many children as possible will stay for lunch this week to try out Nora’s delicious healthy meals.



Reminder, we break up today for 1 week holiday , and return to school on Monday 31st October.  We wish all our families an enjoyable and relaxing break!



After half a term of team points it is very close on the leader board:

Red team 65 points

Blue team 65 points

Yellow team 60 points

Purple team 60 points



Well done to the following classes who are achieving good attendance:

KS1  Class 4 - 80 points    

         Class 5 - 70 points   

         Class 6 - 60 points

KS2  Class 11 - 130 points 

         Class 10 - 100 points

         Class 15 and 16 - 90 points

Keep up the good attendance to keep earning more points for your class rewards.


School Uniform

Please ensure that your child has the correct school uniform:


White blouse/polo shirt

Black cardigan or sweatshirt

Black skirt or trousers or shalwar kameez

Green/white checked dress

If scarves are worn, then we would like them to be black or white.

NO TRAINERS are allowed.

Miss Allen is now taking bookings from current Year 5 children to go on the next residential visit to Condover Hall in September 2017.  Please return your form and deposit to Miss Allen as soon as possible to take part in this amazing trip.



This week Year 5  and 6 invited their parents into the classroom to have a biscuit with a book.  They all enjoyed the opportunity to  read a book together.  Thank you to all the parents who came along!


Packed Lunch Trolleys

After half term the lunch trolleys for Classes 6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16 and 17 will all be kept outside the new glazed corridor (next to Class 12)



A big Arboretum welcome to our new sports coach, Mr Pemberton, who will be helping Mr Malooq run our clubs.  After half term , the following clubs will continue running.  There will also be some new clubs run by our new sports coach Mr Pemberton.  Please collect a form from outside the office or from Mr Malooq after the holiday if your child would like to join one of these clubs.
