Monday 13th July 2020

Dear Early Years families,

The time has come to write the final newsletter of the year. It has been a pleasure writing to you each week and we have loved seeing all your fabulous home learning! It has been so lovely to welcome lots of children back to school and we can’t wait to see you all in September.

For newsletter 12 we wanted to look back over lockdown and celebrate the fabulous learning that has been going on at home as well as in school. So here’s a selection of memories and some special messages from the early years team……

It has been an absolute pleasure to be with you in Nursery. Thank you for being such wonderful stars. I am going to miss you, but I know that you are going to be amazing in reception – Mrs Humphrey

Goodbye to the children who are leaving the 2 year old nursery, you will be amazing in your new nursery To the children who are coming back in September, I can’t wait to see you again 😁 My favourite memory from lockdown has been having time to sit in the garden and listen to the birds singing. Lots of love Miss Jenny

During this lockdown I have learned to value the little things in life. I’ve missed all the children and cannot wait to see you again in September. Have a good summer and stay safe! – Miss Barbara

Hi everyone, hope you are all well.  What a strange few months it’s been!!  I have had some very exciting news in lockdown. I am going to become a grandma in November. Take care! – Miss Eleanor

We have really enjoyed working with class 3 this year, it's a shame our adventure was short but we have lots of lovely memories together and we will miss you all. We would also like to say a big thank you to the parents for being so great. Good luck to you all, you will be amazing in your new classes! – Miss Noon and Mrs Malooq

During lock down I loved welcoming our puppy Dolly into our home - Miss Greene

I have loved being your teacher this year in Class 1! I know we are not going to finish the year together but I will see you all in September. You are all superstars and I know you will continue making me proud in Year 1. Sending you all lots of hugs – Miss MacDonald x

My highlights of lockdown would be getting engaged to Dan and having lots of country walks with family – Miss Olivia.
