Our learning journey starts in the two year olds unit. We have 32 places and your child may be entitled to 15 hours of free childcare “….giving children a good foundation for starting school by developing their communication and social skills” (Flying start for 2 year olds).

 

The learning journey for the children is planned using the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. The learning is always led by the interests the children have; the topics covered so far this year include Dinosaurs, Colour, Shape, Water and Ice, Wild Animals. The activities are carefully planned to excite and engage the children and develop their key skills, particularly communication and language, physical development and their social skills.
