UKS2 Weekly Newsletter 14.06.2020

                                                                                                                        Monday 15th June 2020

Hello UKS2 children and carers,

Can you believe that it’s already the middle of June? It is now 13 weeks since schools in the United Kingdom first closed, to protect us all from Covid-19. We hope that you are all keeping safe and well. In the coming weeks, some Year 6s may well be returning to school and we look forward to seeing you. All of the teachers are keeping busy, preparing for your learning. For those of you who are in Year 5, or Year 6s who are staying at home, we will continue to keep in touch through these newsletters and our home learning packs.

You will be pleased to know that all of the Year 6 teachers have also been busy talking with Year 7 teachers at various schools; telling them all about how fabulous you are and how best to support you when you start your new journeys in September.

Literacy: Pobble365

We have recommended this website before, but it really is amazing for writing activities. Why don’t you find your birthday date and see what challenges there are to complete? Visit https://www.pobble365.com/ , click the calendar in the top right hand corner and then the arrow at the bottom of the picture.

Just for Fun!

Mrs Naylor has been enjoying making chocolate mug cakes with her two boys this week. They’re really simple to make and absolutely delicious. Why don’t you have a try at home? Remember to always ask a grown up to help you in the kitchen with baking.
