Monday 27th April 2020
Hello UKS2 children and carers,
Welcome to newsletter 5! Many of you will now be observing Ramadan – this lockdown is a difficult time for many of us as we cannot visit loved ones but we hope that it is wonderful to be able to celebrate this special month at home with your immediate family.
Activities that you could try this week:
Monday
Lots of you Year 6s bought the CGP SATs practice books last term – we hope that you’re still using them. There are also some 10-minute tests available on their website – you can have a go at both Maths and SPaG! Year 5s – challenge yourself and have a go too!

We will finish this week’s newsletter with a little message from all of your teachers. We are keeping busy with work and family – Mr Davies has been busy in school this week, Mrs Naylor has been doing some home-learning activities with her two little boys (she wishes they would sit still and listen though!) and Mrs Wright has been fence painting in the sunshine. However, we are all missing your happy, smiling faces, even though we know that staying at home is to keep us safe. So, we thought that we would send you a special message because we are sure that you are missing our smiling faces too!
Take care and enjoy your week!
