Hello LKS2 parents and carers,

I hope everyone is keeping well and you are safe. If you want to help your child understand all about the coronavirus you can download this children’s guide to coronavirus. https://www.childrenscommissioner.gov.uk/publication/childrens-guide-to-coronavirus/

Key stage 2 team update

We have all been working in different ways:

  • Miss Paget has been at school again helping out. There have been lots of creative activities happening at school in these tough times.
  • Mrs Cross has been knitting, gardening and finishing school reports. She even put a rainbow in her window and a bear so when children go past on their daily walks they can have a rainbow and bear hunt.
  • Miss Worrall has been doing lots of creative things with her girls- they even made rainbows on bread! Paint your bread with milk and food colouring and then grill! Why not try some?
  • Mrs Baker had a Zoom party for her friend, they even had a cake with candles.
  • Mrs Iqbal has been baking with her daughter.
  • Mrs Dundon-Innis has been baking too and enjoying eating all she has baked!

Have a look below at some more ideas to help you with your learning at home as recommended by your teachers. Remember to have fun too!
