December 2022 Newsletter
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you are all well – here are a few notices for you all:
Parent meetings are next week for most classes on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th – please return your slip to the class teacher to make an appointment. At this meeting you will be given the Autumn term report. There will be slightly different arrangements for children in both Nurseries, The Orchard and Class 2 and they will contact you about these.
Thank you for all your support this term with attending events in school – currently we have given out 1,256 coloured tickets to parents and we will draw out some lucky winners at the end of term and let you all know who has won a prize.
You will be invited to our EYFS Nativity next week on Friday 16th December – EYFS class teachers will let you know the details.
For your own safety and protection please try to walk on the gritted areas only in school during icy conditions.
It is very cold at the moment so please remember to send your children to school with appropriate clothing eg. coats, hats and gloves if possible.
Please see the attached information about Strep A and Scarlet Fever from Public Health.
On Wednesday 14th December there is a change to the dinner menu – this will now be Chicken Cous Cous or Vegetable Noodles.
On Friday 16th the children will have the opportunity to eat their Christmas dinner in school. This is also a day where they can wear a Christmas jumper or a brightly coloured jumper and bring a 50p donation for Save The Children.
All children will have a Christmas Party in the last week of term and the class teacher will give you more details about these.
We break up for the Christmas Holidays on Thursday 22nd December and return back to school on Monday 9th January 2023.
My Very Best wishes to you all.
