Arboretum Primary School is a happy and inclusive school, with a rich and diverse community. We are situated in the heart of Normanton, in the city of Derby. 

There are 38 languages spoken within our school!  We are very fortunate to have extensive grounds which provide a calm oasis for our children and families.

We are a large primary school with 643 pupils on roll.  We have 75 children per year group in Reception and Key Stage 1, with 77 children per year in Key Stage 2.  In addition we have a 32 place unit for two year olds and a 78 place nursery that offers 15 hours per week to children who are three and four years old.

Arboretum Primary is a proud member of the Derby Diocesan Academy Trust family of schools. We value the opportunities this provides for our pupils to develop their knowledge and skills within the wider curriculum.
