The Great Fire Of Arboretum:

Our Key Stage 1 children have recently been studying The Great Fire of London.  To support their learning and to provide them with an enriched experience, the children were given an opportunity to build cardboard Tudor houses and then to see them set on fire by the Fire Brigade. We captured this event on video, so if you would like to see this exciting incident please watch this video.

Last Year We met a real-life dinosaur on May 4th 2018. We also visited 'The Land of the Living Dinosaurs' at West Midlands Safari park. We really enjoyed seeing all the life-size dinosaurs.

School year 2018 - 2019

Autumn term

We learnt about 'Knights and Castles' in our history topic and thought about why people fight. We had a fantastic trip to Warwick castle on a very sunny day.

Spring term 2018- 2019

We have been learning about 'The Circus' for our geography topic. A Big Top came to our school and we practised our circus skills. Also, our parents came in to help us make circus worlds too they were incredible!

We have also continued thinking about helping others and have met with the RSPCA who told us what good work they do. We are also doing a sponsored walk to a local park to raise money for the RSPCA so they can keep helping animals.

Summer term 2018-2019

We are planning to learn about 'Parks and Plants'. We hope to enjoy a visit to Trentham Gardens. Details to follow.
