We are looking to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic Teacher with drive and energy to join our happy, lively, forward looking and successful school.  In return, we can offer you high quality professional development and the opportunity to be part of a team of teachers who regularly share best practice and learn from each other.

Applicants should be outstanding teachers and be innovative and creative in their approach to learning, with exceptionally high expectations of achievement, attainment and behaviour.

We are a large 643 place primary (which includes 20 children in our 2 year old unit and 78 in our 3 year old nursery), with a rich ethnic mix of delightful and well-behaved children. Our modern school has been refurbished and extensively extended and sits in large attractive grounds.  We pride ourselves on our caring ethos and the value we place in our dedicated and friendly staff teams.  We are a popular school, and have a waiting list for most year groups.

We warmly invite prospective candidates to visit the school to find out more about us and the role.

To register your interest, call the school office on (01332) 291140 or email jobs@arboretum.derby.sch.uk .  Please also take a few minutes to watch our school video on our Welcome page of our website www.arboretum.derby.sch.uk to get a true flavour of Arboretum Primary School.
